essential information to navigate the new legislation

FREE Compliance Training for All Welsh Landlords

You’re just seconds away from the essential compliance training, advice, and support you need to navigate the transition period of the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016

Stop me if any of this sounds familiar:

You're a landlord with a property in Wales, and you're totally confused by the new laws
You know there's a new law for Welsh landlords, but don't know where to start or how to put it into practice
You've spent countless hours trying to learn what the new laws mean, and you're sick of the frustration of wrestling with new words and battling through various online courses
You've done your landlord training but you don't know where to start putting it into action, and you're out of ideas of who to turn to
You're not enjoying managing your properties anymore, and you're thinking of just giving up and selling

That's what inspired us to build a community!

We were fed up with hearing stories about good landlords (like you) who want to provide good quality homes to good tenants, being left stuck, confused, and let down in their pursuit of training success thanks to:

Complicated training days

that promise the world but they take all day and you don't seem to learn anything useful or that makes sense

Overly technical explanations

that bore you to death with technical information and history you don't really need, so you finish the course feeling none the wiser

Too much focus on theory

with no real information about how it affects you and what you need to do to put it into practice

Thankfully, all of that is behind you!

Introducing:
The Landlord Community

Empowering landlords with clear, no-nonsense compliance training and practical advice for everyday situations, with handy resources to help you manage your legal obligations.

No legal jargon!

Plus the community support you need to get you through.

This course will cover:

The basics: decoding what all the new stuff is and what it means for you
Contracts
Rent increases, serving notice, and succession rights - things you need to do during a tenancy
Written statements
New property safety standards including electrical safety, carbon monoxide alarms, and smoke alarms
How to start a tenancy

Why this isn't just another boring course

The point of this course is to clearly explain how the new laws affect you and what actions you can to take today to make sure you’re up to date and your tenancies still are good and legal.

No nonsense, no jargon, no law degree required – just the basic, honest facts.

There’s a deadline for issuing the written statement to convert your tenancies, so we’ll give you the document you need and show you how to use it too.

Too many courses give you the theory but don’t tell you what to do with it – what good is that?!

If you have a rental property in Wales, this course is for you. It doesn’t matter whether you yourself live in Wales.

On 1st December 2022, the Welsh Government introduced the Renting Homes Act 2016. This has changed everything we do as landlords, and introduced some new responsibilities too. The penalties for non-compliance are likely to be high so we’d really recommend reading up – or signing up for this course!

Once you’ve signed up, you can complete the course at your own pace and re-visit any modules as many times as you like.
